We are Shauna and Shawna, two Metis cousins who not only share a strong bond of family but also a deep passion for quilting. It is a beautiful coincidence that our names align so perfectly, reflecting the harmony in our friendship. Shauna, who was adopted at birth, embarked on a journey to reconnect with her biological roots in 2006, and through this journey, she was blessed to meet her birth father, who also happens to be Shawna's uncle. Our connection started off slowly as cousins, but over time, it grew into a profound friendship.
Now, we find ourselves fortunate to embark on a new venture together, turning our shared love for creating and making quilts into a business. This is a dream come true for both of us, as it allows us to not only express our passion but also to celebrate our heritage through our creations. With each stitch, we weave together our stories, our love, and the beauty of our culture. It is an honor to be on this journey together, supporting and inspiring each other, as we continue to create quilts that carry not only warmth but also a piece of our hearts.

Our mission at Shauna and Shawna Quilts is simple: We are Metis Artists providing our customers with
the best possible quilts that are hand-made and as individual as the people who purchase them. We

We not only offer readymade creations from our catalogue but offer custom made quilts and ribbon
skirts and individualized sashes so we can ensure these creations are true reflections of the clients own
